Orkney has a selection of Regattas in the summer offering friendly competition in various localities. Burray was postponed from the 29 June due to weather, so a new date has been set for 14 August. Longhope is due on 13 July, Stromness on 20 July. Westray Regatta is due on 27 July. Kirkwall Regatta is scheduled for 3 August. Kemp Cup is scheduled for 7 September.
Kirkwall Regatta will include a test event for the Orkney Island Games which will run on Sunday 4 August. More details to follow.
